The first poll released since Darryl Glenn won the Republican primary shows Democrat incumbent Michael Bennet (D) leading Darryl Glenn (R) in the Senate race by 6 points.
Michael Bennet has a natural advantage just for being the incumbent politician. And Darryl Glenn is extremely conservative. Perhaps he is too conservative for Colorado? He has been endorsed by the likes of Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin. I expect that this will be a close race but my prediction is that Michael Bennet holds on to his Senate seat. But he is still considered one of the most vulnerable Senate seats in the country.
The poll was conducted by Harper Polling, and also showed Hillary Clinton with a lead over Donald Trump in Colorado. Clinton received about 45 percent of the voters’ support to Trump’s 38 percent, giving Hillary Clinton a 7 point lead over Donald Trump. 14 percent said they would vote for someone else and 4 percent were undecided.
